The “Past Future”. Twenty Years of STS and Technical Universities

If the public engagement of science and technology has been quickly expanding in the past few decades, the same cannot be said about the presence of STS expertise in the knowledge of scientists, engineers and designers. This article focuses on the opportunity given to STS by the recent trend of European technical universities towards integrating critical and reflexive skills into their educational core.
